Clinical Research Assistant

2 positions are available for the role of a Clinical Research Associate.

The position will be based in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. Local or regional applicants are encouraged to apply.

Some of the responsibilities of the successful candidate(s) are:

• Designing data collection forms, known as case record forms (CRFs);
• Developing and writing trial protocols (outlining the purpose and methodology of a trial);
• Coordinating with the ethics committee;
• Managing regulatory authority applications and approvals
• Liaising with doctors/consultants (or investigators) on conducting the trial;
• Monitoring the trial throughout its duration, which involves visiting the study centres on a regular basis;
• Verifying that data entered on to the CRFs is consistent with patient clinical notes
• Collecting completed CRFs from hospitals and general practices;
• Filing and collating trial documentation and reports;
• Ensuring all unused trial supplies are accounted for;
• Archiving study documentation and correspondence;
• Preparing final reports

He/She must possess at least a degree in Life Sciences from an accredited institution and holds a certificate of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

A minimum of 3 years working experience as CRA is ideal.

The candidate must also demonstrate fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Data Entry Clerks

2 positions are available for data entry clerks. The position will be based in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. Local or regional applicants are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate(s) primary responsibility is to update and manage specific databases and to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Other responsibilities may include, but not limited to, providing administrative assistance such as filing and other ad hoc tasks from time to time.

He/She must hold at least an SPM diploma or higher, have an advanced knowledge in database software (Microsoft Access & Microsoft Office), demonstrate fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fresh graduate/ entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.

Internships

Internship assignments can vary in length, with a minimum duration of 3 months, according to the availability and academic requirements of the intern, as well as the needs of Azmi Burhani Consulting.

Internships are available on full-time basis throughout the year. We accept both international and local applicants, however, international applicants will be responsible for arranging their own visa, accommodation, transportation, and other related matters.

Applicants applying for an internship position should satisfy the minimum requirements:

• Interns should be in their final year of undergraduate studies or currently enrolled in a postgraduate programme within the area of study such as sociology, public health, development studies, economics, statistics, pharmaceutical and/or other areas related to our consulting work.
• Have interest in one of our area of services.
• Have research, analytical and communication skills.
• Be willing to travel within the country (if required to, depending on assignment).
• Be a good team player, as well as enthusiastic and pleasant.
• Knowledge of a second language is an added advantage in addition to having a good command of the English language
