Dr. Soraya Dato’ Seri Azmi
Having trained as a physician at the University of Adelaide, Australia, and obtained a Masters in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health, Soraya has project expertise leveraging her clinical training as well as research consulting experience regionally and in the United States. She has served as a physician and researcher for the Malaysian Ministry of Health, provided public health policy and programming analysis for the United Nations Population Fund (New York headquarters), as well as outcomes research for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals (New York headquarters), and NDCHealth (Arizona). As executive Director, Soraya also heads our research consulting team. Soraya also volunteers in multiple non-governmental organizations at the leadership level.
Ali Burhani
As a graduate from the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy-League university, Ali has more than 15 years of US and international management consulting experience working with Arthur Andersen, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte and Touche. He has extensive experience in leading high-impact projects for large multinational corporations spanning across various industries, for example, General Electric, Nestle, Lehman Brothers, Unilever, Compaq Computers, Alcoa, Yum Brands International, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Sanofi-Aventis amongst others. His diverse skills range from project management, business process optimization, internal controls and risk assessment through to ERP implementation. As CEO, Ali is responsible for management of our entire consulting practice. Ali has a proven track-record of managing cross-functioning teams, delivering vision and results.
Manimohan Manickam
With over 30 years of information technology experience, Manimohan has knowledge, skills and know-how from strategy to implementation in many industries. He has also been involved in the planning and design of education delivery as well as training and support. He is most recently engaged with Tenderdirect Sdn Bhd as a Chief Technology Officer and was responsible for setting up its initial system development infrastructure. He also continues in academic teaching and curriculum work at the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology in Kuala Lumpur. With vast practical experience over the course of his career in various capacities, his special expertise is in the practical application and alignment of technology with business and market strategy.
Adrian Goh
With a Bachelors degree in Economics from Macquarie University, Australia and a Masters degree in Economics, Adrian has developed expertise in health economics and outcomes to make him one of the few Malaysian experts in the field. Through his work with the Clinical Research Centre, part of the
Ministry of Health, he has conducted research on quality of life, health
preference valuation, cost effectiveness analysis, health equity, healthcare
financing, medicines pricing and medicines expenditure. He has worked on
investigator-led research as well as research involving multinational
pharmaceuticals, other Ministry of Health agencies and the World Health
Organization. As a result, he has depth and breadth of understanding
research landscape in the Malaysian health care system.
